About

The thinking behind the work

Portrait of Derrilynn Landry

I'm a Senior Instructional Designer with 13+ years of experience across K-12 education and corporate learning & development, including 6+ years building technical, compliance and leadership training across the energy, oil & gas and AI infrastructure sectors. My background spans global organizations including Vertiv, ExxonMobil, Precision Drilling and Shell Energy, where I've supported technical training initiatives connected to advanced liquid cooling and AI-driven infrastructure through the PurgeRite business.

I specialize in transforming complex technical concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences that improve workforce performance, operational readiness and knowledge retention. My work spans instructional design, technical training, eLearning development, LMS administration, curriculum strategy, onboarding, compliance training and workforce enablement.

Throughout my career, I've partnered with engineers, SMEs, operational leaders and cross-functional teams to build learning programs that support real business objectives — not just completion rates. As industries continue evolving through AI, digital transformation and infrastructure modernization, I'm focused on building learning experiences that prepare teams for what's next.
